We recently had our cultural wedding in Preston Peak and we couldn't have chosen any better venue for the day. The location is beautiful. Staff are very helpful and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. From the first tour till the wedding day everyone involved were very accommodating to our specific needs/requests. They understood our vision for the day and worked with us to make the day as stressful as possible. Alex was always reachable and helpful in solving any issues/matters. Our guests loved the food. The venue, service everything was superb for us!!!

I had the pleasure of attending the last wedding at Preston Peak Functions, and it was absolutely magical! ✨ The venue looked stunning, the views were breathtaking, and every little detail was perfectly done. The staff were so welcoming and made the night run flawlessly. The food, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe were just unforgettable. I agree with Jordan Smith's review 100% (see below). Communication and Pack Down Timing The run sheet clearly stated that we had access to the venue until midnight, yet pack down began at 10pm without any prior communication. This disrupted the evening and created confusion among guests. Bridal Cottage Condition The bridal cottage was not cleaned prior to arrival. The bride’s dress and veil were visibly dirty before she even walked down the aisle. There was also no rubbish bin provided, which made it difficult to maintain cleanliness throughout the day. Additionally, glass bottles were found in the bushes nearby, and the aisle itself was quite dirty. See picture attached to this review of the flower girl's feet from being in the bridal cottage which we had to wash prior to getting her dressed. Bar Access for the Bride and Bridal Party The bar was closed to the bride and her party due to an incident involving a guest. The individual involved left immediately. Unfortunately, this decision added significant stress to the bride, especially given her recent loss of a close family member. We had hoped for more compassion and flexibility in handling the situation. Guest Management and MC Support Several unexpected guests arrived who hadn't RSVP’d, yet staff did not assist our MC in managing the situation. This added unnecessary pressure and confusion during a critical time. Food Safety Concerns Many guests, including myself and my partner (who were not drinking), experienced symptoms of food poisoning following the event. This is deeply concerning and warrants investigation to ensure food safety standards are being met. We understand that unforeseen issues can arise, but clearer communication, better preparation, and more empathetic handling of sensitive situations would have made a significant difference. I have also not received a reply to feedback from the day.

From the very first moment we stepped foot in Preston Peak Functions, Tyson and I knew we had found the perfect venue. It was the very first and only venue we looked at, and we fell in love instantly. The view, the atmosphere, and the overall elegance of the place were everything we had dreamed of and more. From the initial meeting to the very last moment of our wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. The planning process was seamless and effortless, thanks to Kaylee and the incredible team. They were so helpful, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible. Every detail was considered, and it was clear that everyone knew exactly what they needed to do to ensure everything ran smoothly. The professionalism, warmth, and efficiency of the team made it feel like 5-star treatment for every guest. Still to this day our friends and family say how AMAZING the venue is and we couldn’t agree more. The chefs and kitchen staff created the most delicious meals and our guests are still talking about the food! The luxury house included in the wedding package was immaculate, and having the opportunity to stay there on the night of our wedding was an absolute dream, it added such a personal, relaxing touch to the day. The atmosphere throughout the day was magical. Tyson and I couldn’t fault a single thing, and even now, we still think about it and miss everyone at Preston Peak dearly. Preston Peak didn’t just host our wedding, they made it an experience we will treasure forever. We are so grateful to Kaylee and the entire team for creating the most beautiful, unforgettable day. We had our wedding at Preston Peak and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the setup to the service, everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was just perfect. The team was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the day special. Big shout-out to Hafez, absolute legend. We recently attended a wedding at Preston Peak Winery and, unfortunately, the experience left us really disappointed – particularly for the bride and groom who had put so much effort and money. I was part of the bridal party, and from the start the venue was impractical and poorly managed. The bridal cottage is tiny – with only five of us in the bridal party, plus the bride’s mum, two makeup artists and a hairdresser, we were stepping over each other all day. The layout is also very awkward: the toilet is in the same room where hair was being done, separated only by a flimsy room divider. If anyone went into the bathroom, you could see them through the mirror reflection while the hairdresser was working – hardly private or comfortable. On the day, we had to chase staff constantly. We had to call the manager just to get wine delivered to the cottage, and when the buggy was supposed to pick up the bride at 1.30pm, no one arrived. Again, we had to call to remind staff. After the ceremony, no food was delivered to the bridal party during photos. When we asked why, we were told it was because we were in the wine cellar with guests when canapés were served – but in reality, we left for photos after the first round, so we missed out entirely. For such a premium venue, this lack of attention to detail was really disappointing. Meal service was no better. The lamb I was served was mostly fat, and during speeches/meal service my wine glass was topped up just once. For a venue that sells itself as high-end, the standard of food and service fell far short of expectations. To top it all off, the bride reached out to Preston Peak via email to share her concerns afterwards, and has never received a response. That lack of acknowledgment is extremely unprofessional. Preston Peak may look beautiful, but the service, food, and overall experience were simply not worth the price. Very sad for our friends, who deserved so much better on their wedding day.

My husband and I got married at Preston Peak and it was honestly the best wedding we could imagine. The service was amazing, all of our guests raved about the food and the staff were all so friendly. The food was absolutely delicious; each plate that came out was a hit with our guests — there wasn’t a single bite left behind! The bar team also deserves a big shoutout for keeping the drinks flowing and the vibes high. Their service was efficient and friendly, adding to the fun and celebratory atmosphere. A special thank you to the venue manager, who was incredibly accommodating and responsive to our needs. Alongside the day planner, they ensured every part of the day ran like clockwork, which gave us the freedom to truly relax and enjoy every moment. We also want to give a big thank you to Xavier, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His support was invaluable, and his attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Even his son — working his first day — did an awesome job and was such a lovely addition to the team. Preston Peak gave us the wedding day of our dreams, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommended to any couple looking for a seamless, beautiful, and unforgettable wedding experience.

We had our wedding day at Preston Peak and it was just stunning. The service on the day was spectacular. Bri and Matt our planners were so helpful and made the day stress-free. And Adam who was there for the reception and night was so lovely and made us feel very looked after. The food was delicious and we were very impressed with the canapes and main meals. The were very filling and were a real stand-out for a lot of the guests! The views from the ceremony area and the reception area were magnificent. And there were so many locations to get really lovely photos. (We were very lucky with the weather, but one thing to be aware of is that it can get very windy as it is on top of a range. But obviously it is not possible to control the weather haha). Thank you team for making our special day so magical.

Our wedding last year was truly a dream come true, and our family still raves about it to this day! We cannot express enough gratitude to the team at Preston Peak, especially Matty, for going above and beyond to ensure that our special day was absolutely perfect - and it truly was! Despite the challenges of accommodating our large Samoan/Tongan family, Matty and Rick went to great lengths to make it work flawlessly. From the ceremony to the food and every detail in between, everything was incredible. We are forever grateful to you both and the team for creating such a memorable and beautiful wedding day. Once we stepped foot at Preston Peak, we knew we had found our wedding venue. Matt and Bri were wonderful right from the start and we can't thank them nor recommend them enough! The boys got ready at their Panorama House while the girls got ready at the Bridal Cottage. Matt and Bri were really easy to get along with and nothing was too hard! When wedding restrictions came in March, Preston Peak made the process easy to change our date and kept us in the loop with everything that we needed to know.
